Police Log: Elm Street Yard Vandalized, Unwanted Guests, and More

The following information was provided by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Jan. 20 

At 1:27 p.m., a caller from Prospect Street reported that his snow blower was missing. 

At 2:36 p.m., a caller reported that she went to check her father's house on Elm Street while he was away and noticed that his yard was all town up. The back garden was also damaged. She suspected that vehicles were doing donuts on her father's lawn. 

Tuesday, Jan. 21

At 12:18 a.m., a resident on Center Street called and reported that there were two unwanted, drunk white men, about 19 or 20, in her home and that she wanted them removed from the premises. Police transported the men to a local address. 

At 6:31 a.m., a caller reported that a dog on Pine Street had been outside since 4 a.m. and appeared too weak to move. The caller was unable to wake anyone up inside. Police were unable to to gain access to the yard or wake anyone up, but said the dog seemed OK for the time being. 

At 10:28 a.m., the Animal Control Officer received multiple reports of a dead raccoon in the road on Washington Street.
