Police Log: False Prescriptions, Attempted Breaking and Entering

The following information was provided by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

At 10:28 a.m., the owner of South Easton Variety reported an attempted breaking and entering. There was minor damage to the door frame and no entry was gained. There was also an attempted breaking and entering, with no entry gained, at an empty store front. 

At 11:05 a.m., a resident came into the police station to report credit card fraud. 

At 3:17 p.m., another resident came into the police station to report credit card fraud. 

At 9:57 p.m., a pharmacist reported having information on a person who passed false prescriptions in September and October. State Police are investigating the incident.
