Police Log: Fraud, Shoplifting, Dead Deer

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Dec. 23

At 12:48 a.m., police received a report of a deer in the middle of the roadway of Rockland and Mill Streets, staring at vehicles and foaming on the mouth. When police arrived on-scene, the deer appeared fine and ran off into the woods. 

At 10:33 a.m., police received a report of possible fraud with Publisher's Clearing House. 

At 3:32 p.m., a Target employee filed a report of someone stealing $700 worth of vacuums yesterday.

At 7:25 p.m., police received a report that a deer was struck and killed by a vehicle on Massapoag Ave and Rockland Street near Sharon.
