Police Log: Larceny, Breaking and Entering, and More

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Wednesday, September 4

5:57 p.m. Larceny (under $250). Resident into Easton Fire Department to report a woman's retro blue bike was stolen from the premises. 

6:03 p.m. Suspicious Activity. Columbus Avenue and Center Street. Anonymous caller reporting two teenage suspects smoking marijuana in the parking lot of the church at Columbus and Center. Officer checks area and local convenience store; gone on arrival. 


Thursday, September 5


12:48 a.m. Noise Complaint. Bay Road. Caller reporting several people being loud in the area. Residents advised to take it inside for the evening. 

9:11 a.m. Suspicious Activity. Tedeschi's Food Store, Washington Street. Manager form Tedeschi's is requesting an officer for two white males in their 20s that are loitering outside of the store and asking customers for money. Caller also states they are possibly drunk. Officer spoke with caller and reports those parties have still left the area. 

12 p.m. Animal Incident. Ames Shovel Works, Main Street. Caller reports seeing a loose, black and brown Belgian Shepherd running around the parking lot area. Dog has collar, but unknown if tags. Animal Control Officer unable to locate. 

9:05 p.m. Noise Complaint. Tamarack Lane. Neighbor reports loud music coming from inside a home. Officer spoke with resident who will shut down band practice. 

Friday, September 6

1:05 p.m. Officer Wanted. Resident into Easton Police Department reporting Granddaughter almost struck by a speeding vehicle coming down roadway by the house. Officer advised calling party. 

1:38 p.m.  Suspicious Activity. CVS Pharmacy, Washington Street. Caller reporting two males at CVS that just threw a bunch of nips out of their vehicle and are parked in a handicapped spot. Caller also states the parties are now inside the store acting strange. Officers reporting parties check out fine, parking citation issues. 

2:26 p.m. 
Suspicious Activity. South Easton Cemetery, Washington Street. Caretaker reporting suspicious motor vehicle was occupied in the cemetery and left the area driving over several lots, headed southbound on Route 138. Caretaker reports no damage, states signs posted regarding no trespassing, wanted incident logged. 

9:35 p.m. Breaking and Entering (residence). Caller requesting officer for possible breaking and entering of residence. A.C. unit removed from window.
