Police Log: One Person Injured in Car Accident

Monday, Oct. 28
At 8:39 a.m., a person walked into the police station to report that her car was keyed the previous week.
At 9:46 a.m., police received a call about youths throwing rocks at electrical boxes and cars on Foundry Street afterschool.

Tuesday, Oct. 29
At 8:29 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at Poquanticut Avenue and Rockland Street. One person was taken to an area hospital and one vehicle was towed.
At 11:32 a.m., police received a call from the Canton Street area about three “suspicious vehicles” in the area. Police spoke to the young adults in the cars who were in the area for a funeral.

At 5:30 p.m., a person reported losing a wedding ring near Roche Brothers. The ring is described as two rings fused into one with a diamond, which is flower-shaped.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
At 12:05 p.m., police arrested Anthony Perez, 78 Norton Glenn, Norton, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police pulled over Perez at Highland and Foundry streets.
