Police Log: Shoplifting at Hannaford, Two Deer Hit By Cars

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Saturday, Nov. 23

At 6:06 p.m., A business owner from Hampden Drive came into the lobby to report larcenies from his business.  

Also at 6:06 p.m, a caller from Hannaford's reported they had a shoplifter detained and requested an officer. 

Sunday, Nov. 24

At 8:58 a.m., a resident reported a second attempt of identity fraud involving the resident's bank account. 

At 2:33 p.m., a deer was reportedly hit on Washington Street and needed to be euthanized. 

At 7:40 p.m., a caller reported hitting a deer on Turnpike and Village Streets. The deer was killed and moved to the side of the road. There was no personal injury of property damage.
