Police Log: Shoplifting, Attempted Breaking and Entering, and More

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Friday, October 18

1:20 p.m. 
Shoplifting. Target Corporation, Robert Drive. Caller from Target Loss Prevention requesting an officer for a shoplifter they have in custody. Returning with party under arrest for shoplifting. Clerk set bail at $60 plus $40 fee. 

2:45 p.m. 
Suspicious Activity. Easton Lucky Corner, Depot Street. Caller, the owner of Lucky Corner is calling to report they keep getting phone calls from someone who state their electricity is going to be shut off if they don't wire money right now from CVS. Officer called the number, party hung up when told they were speaking to a police officer.

Sunday, October 20

1:38 a.m. 
Attempted Breaking and Entering. Dela Park Lane. Caller reports two male parties are attempting to kick his door in. Unable to get any further information before caller disconnected the phone... got back in touch with party who was unable to give any other information. Parties broke the caller's front door.
