Police Log: Suspicious Sock at North Easton Savings Bank, Three Cars Broken Into Saturday

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Thursday, September 26

12:19 p.m. Officer Wanted. North Easton Savings Bank, 295 Main Street. Caller reporting a sock in the wastebasket by the atm is filled with an unknown object or substance. Officer advises that the sock was filled with nonstick spray for a grill.

Friday, September 27

5:29 p.m. Animal Incident, Lynda Road. Caller reporting his 10-year-old son was bit by a neighborhood dog. Caller refusing medical attention, child has a small laceration on his face. The Animal Control Officer states the dog will be placed under quarantine for the weekend and he will follow up on Monday. 

6:41 p.m. Threats. Dean Street. Caller reporting he received threats from a neighbor with whom he has had problems in the past. Officer spoke with caller and is heading over to the neighbor's to speak with him. Officer spoke with neighbor, subject advised. Officer advises issue is ongoing harassment. 

Saturday, September 28

7:22 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Vehicle). Greystone Way. Resident calling to report break in to motor vehicle. Party is leaving for Field Hockey game, so he will be in later today to file report. 

7:37 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Vehicle). Kingsley Road. Caller reporting cars in her driveway were entered and rummaged through. She states the a diaper bag, two sets of keys and a printer were taken. 

12:30 Breaking and Entering (Vehicle). Amber Lane. Party into station to report that his vehicle was entered sometime overnight and his GPS is missing.
