Police Log: Noise Complaints, Vandalism, Larceny, and More

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Monday, August 26

11:45 a.m. Vandalism. Scotch Dam Road. Resident reports past vandalism to lawn and four solar lights, last Friday evening sometime after midnight. Request neighborhood patrols, especially on weekend nights.

12:53 p.m. Attempted Breaking and Entering. Bay Road. Resident returned after three days of being away and discovered damage to the rear door and some outside items smashed. No entry gained. Pry marks on the door frames. Stereo smashed. 

4:50 p.m. Larceny (under $250). Turnpike Street. Resident in to report seat was taken from his motorcycle while parked in the driveway. Incident occurred several days ago.

8:14 p.m. Juvenile Offenses. Outfield Drive and Foundry Street. Caller reports approximately 10 minutes ago she passed five to six teens laying in the street and had a little bonfire lit. No one in the area, bonfire was out.  

Tuesday, August 27

11:47 p.m. Noise Complaint. Concerto Ct. Resident reports extremely loud music coming from nearby home. Party cleared out for the night.

Wednesday, August 28

10:05 a.m. Animal Incident. Penny Lane. Resident advises Animal Control Officer a white dog followed her home--a small white Maltese mix--ACO transported dog back to Easton Police Department and will attempt to contact the owners. ACO transporting dog to Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Mass. on Elm Street in Brockton. 

3:28 p.m. Suspicious Activity. Foundry Street. Caller reporting all of her mail has been opened today.

10:02 p.m. Animal Incident. Chestnut Street. Caller reporting dog lost/escaped from pen enclosure. Dog is a white Habernese, 20 pounds, male named "Bentley." 

Thursday, August 29

9:08 a.m. 
Vandalism. Park Lane. Caller reporting his vehicle was keyed sometime last night for the second time in sox months. 

11:49 a.m. Larceny (under $250). Burger King, Foundry Street. Manager reports an employee has been caught stealing, require.

11:39 p.m. Noise Complaint. Concerto Ct. Caller reporting ongoing noise problem. Party music and loud voices. Resident advised to keep noise level down.
