Police Log: Underwater Car at New Pond, Breaking and Entering

Monday, September 30
5:56 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Residence). Olivia Road. Caller would like to report a past breaking and entering that happened sometime yesterday afternoon. Officer reports jewelry and cash were taken.
7:10 p.m. Investigation. New Pond, Foundry Street. Party in to report there's been a motor vehicle submerged in the pond and covered with algae. He fishes in that spot and has noticed it there since Spring. Easton Fire Department advised. The vehicle is about 15 to 20 feet from the wall at the Southeast corner. Fire Department will search in the daylight.
Tuesday, October 1
12:43 p.m. Breaking and Entering (Building). Yaitanes Landscaping, Hampden Drive. Business owner reporting past Breaking and Entering into the business, items taken.
