Police Log: Two Men Caught Trying to Steal Copper, Keyed Car, and More

The following is from the Easton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Saturday, Dec. 28

At 11:40 p.m., a caller reported that two men were trying to steal copper gutters from the Easton Historical Society. When confronted, the two men ran to a brownish-gray sedan and fled towards Elm Street. One of the men was described as a white man in his late 30s or early 40s, about 5'9", wearing a gray sweatshirt and missing teeth. 

At 11:52 a.m., a caller from the Immaculate Conception Rectory reported that five walkway light posts were vandalized. 

Sunday, Dec. 29

At 2:24 p.m., a caller from Landsdowne Village on Foundry Street, reported that her car had been keyed and that she would like to speak with an officer.
