Three Easton Teens Arrested For Armed Robbery

Zachary Wilson, Anthony Reed and Alex Elizabeth McKeen were arrested Saturday.

A 17-year-old and two 18-year-olds were arrested for armed robbery Saturday night in Easton.

Police responded to a 911 call at 6 p.m. from a 20-year-old male who said that he had just been robbed at gunpoint and he was at the corner of Sheridan Street and Coughlin Road.

Upon arrival, Police spoke to the victim who said he had arranged to meet several people for a drug transaction and that when he got into the suspect’s vehicle he was robbed at gunpoint for a small amount of cash, Police Chief Allen Krajcik said.

According to Krajcik, the victim also stated one of the suspects put a knife to his throat.  The victim described the vehicle to police and stated there were three occupants, two males and a female driver, and that he knew one of the males.

After a subsequent investigation, police arrested Zachary Wilson, 17, of 138 Summer St., Easton and charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of Class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, and armed robbery. Also arrested was Anthony Reed, 18, of 465 Bay Rd South Easton who was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon (knife) and unlawful possession of ammunition.  The third person arrested was the driver, Alex Elizabeth McKeen, 18 of 10 Rocky Brook Drive, Easton. She is charged with armed robbery.

"Easton Det. Sgt. Michael Fox and Det. Darren Mangott executed a search warrant at 138 Summer St. and several handguns were located along with marijuana," Krajcik said.

Krajcik said Officers Brandon Walkus, Keith Boone and Brian Humenuk assisted with the investigation.

All three subjects were set to be arraigned at Taunton District Court Monday morning.
