Two Rollover Accidents in Easton Friday Night

No injuries were reported in the two accidents.

Rollover Accident at the Corner of Central Street and Short Street

Easton emergency officials responded to a rollover accident on the corner of Central Street and short Street Friday night at approximately 5 p.m.

A Nissan carrying two 18 year-olds and two 20 year-olds flipped after sliding into a stone wall in heavy rain. Nobody was injured.

According to the crash report, the vehicle was traveling east in the eastbound lane on Central Street. The operator of the vehicle stated that when she approached a curve in the roadway near the intersection of Short Street there was a stopped vehicle in the road and attempted to turn left onto Short Street.

The operator of the vehicle stated that her vehicle began sliding and she turned to avoid a collision. The vehicle went off of the roadway to the right and drove up onto a stone wall. The vehicle suffered damage and was towed from scene by Maplewood Auto.

Rollover Accident on the Corner of Belmont and Washington

Emergency officials responded to the corner of Belmont Street and Washington Street Friday at approximately 10:50 p.m. for a rollover accident.

No injuries were reported in the two-car accident.

According to the accident report, a Jeep was  traveling north in the left/northbound lane on Washington Street. A green light was displayed for northbound and southbound traffic on Washington Street. As the jeep was traveling through the intersection with Belmont Street, a Toyota attempted to turn left onto Belmont Street and caused the crash. The jeep rolled over after the collision.

The operator of the Toyota stated he was unfamiliar with the area and was
trying to follow another vehicle through the light and never saw the jeep. A citation was issued to operator of the toyota for failing to yield to right away traffic. Both vehicles were totaled. The jeep was towed by Maplewood Auto, V2 was towed by Godfrey Automotive.

Accident on Short Street Sunday

Emergency officials responded to Short Street Sunday at approximately 2 p.m. for an accident. A tow was required but no injuries were reported.

Three-Car Accident at Hannafords

Easton emergency officials responded to Hannafords for a three-car accident Sunday at approximately 4:45 p.m.

No injuries were reported and two cars were towed.

Disturbance Reported Sunday on Nancy Road

A caller reported a disturbance on Nancy Road Sunday at approximately 9:20 p.m.

Police responded to the area to listen and it appears the noise was an obvious reaction to the football game on TV.
