Two Transported to Hospital After Multi-Car Accident Sunday

The incident required the help of Mansfield and Norton Fire Departments.

Two people were transported to the hospital Sunday morning after a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Eastman and Foundry Street near Hannaford Supermarket.

Easton emergency officials first received a call at approximately 6:52 a.m. regarding a two-car accident. One person needed to be extricated from a motor vehicle.

A Mansfield ambulance transported one party to Rhode Island Hospital and a Norton ambulance transported the other party to Good Samaritan. Both parties were the operators of their vehicle.

Foxborough Resident Arrested for OUI

One person was arrested for drunk driving after a one-car accident on Depot Street early Sunday.

Nicole Tarasewicz, 25, of 39 South Street, Foxborough was arrested for operating under the influence Sunday morning at approximately 2:30.

Nobody was injured in the incident. Tarasewicz was released on $290 bail.

Easton Resident Arrested for OUI

One person was arrested for drunk driving Saturday night at Burger King on Foundry Street.

Ross Berman, 44, of 123 Sheridan St, Easton was arrested for operating under the influence after a caller reported a possible drunk driver at approximately 11:30 p.m.

He was released on $100 bail.

Roll-Over Accident on Sharon Line Saturday

Easton Police responded to a call at approximately 8 a.m. Saturday regarding a roll-over accident on Massapoag Ave and Rockland Street.

A caller reported a one-car roll-over with a party inside the vehicle and a civilian attempting to get the party out. An officer reported the accident was just over the town line in Sharon.

Pat's Family Day Care Break-in

A caller at Pat's Family Day Care on Washington Street called Easton Police Friday morning to report a breaking-and-entering incident.

The caller said she woke up to find the television missing.

Small Fire at Southeastern Regional

Easton emergency officials responded to Southeastern Regional Monday, Jan. 28 regarding a small fire.

There was a report of smoke in the storage area and Easton Fire officials reported a small active fire which was contained. The fire was put-out with no injuries reported.
