VIDEO: Easton's First Responders Remember September 11th

Members of the community gathered at Easton Fire Station 1 Tuesday morning on the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11.

 

Easton first responders and members of the Easton community gathered at on Lothrop Street Tuesday morning to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001.

Firefighters rang the bell in front of the station as a last alarm "for firefighters who did not return from the call," the American flag was lowered to half-mast, and those lost were remembered with a moment of silence.

Easton Fire Chief Kevin Partridge led the ceremony. Fire Captain David Beals recited a prayer for the lost, Firefighter Dave McCray recited the firefighters prayer and School Resource Officer George Allen recited the Police Officer's Prayer.
