DA's pay was bumped to $117,500 in 2000. They can retire with a full pension at 55 with a minimum of one day's service. Assistant DAs can retire with a full pension at 55 with a minimum of ten years service. Take Bill Keating (please !) collecting a $110K pension at 60, while also taking his congressional paycheck. Let's talk about a raise when no one signs up to run for the office.

Let me guess: D. Patrick, J. Tierney, J. Moakley, J. Early, Martha Coakley, and worthless liar Lizzie Warren. I pick Lizzie and the winnah . . with Martha finishing second.

It is the ASSISTANT District Attorneys that are the lowest paid. The District Attorneys are doing fine.
