Easton Town Administrator Talks About Gay Rights on "Chronicle"

"Almost Equal" detailed gay rights advancements and struggles in the United States. David Colton's story was told.

 

Easton Town Administrator David Colton made news Wednesday night, but this time it wasn't for his work in Easton.

Colton, along with his husband, Brian Khoo were featured on WCVB's Chronicle.

The Wednesday show, entitled "Almost Equal" detailed gay rights advancements and struggles in the United States. While Colton and Khoo were legally married in Massachusetts in 2008, the federal Defense of Marriage Act does not recognize the union - resulting in immigration-related issues for Colton and Khoo (who is a native of Malaysia).
