Look Who's Voting

Patch is capturing photos of national and Massachusetts political figures at the polls today.

Patch is all over Massachusetts today covering the election and we have run into many national and Massachusetts figures.

Flip through our photos that will likely grow throughout the day.

Yep, it's true: Obama has some money in the Cayman Islands and some Chinese invenstments. So, let's look at those investments: As an Illinois state senator for 10 years, he was included in a state pension fund that is controlled by an administrative board -- the General Assembly Retirement System. Like all other state employees, he has no direct control over those funds, some of which are indeed invested offshore. You can view the disclosure form here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/president_obama_2011_oge_form_278_certified.pdf Romney, on the other hand, actively created offshore accounts to shield both his direct Bain compensation and his indirect 401(k) monies, as well as created shell corporations to shield Bain entities from scrutiny. Neither move is illegal. After the election, regulators may look more closely at Romney's use of offshore accounts for redirected carried interest income. Read about that here: http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/2012/08/investigating-mitt-romney-offshore-accounts

If you're not embarrassed by your choice, you have nothing to hide.

Yah Mitt and Scott?
Elaine November 06, 2012 at 08:05 PM
Lets hope Americans are smarter than they were Four years ago! Four more years of this will bring us to our knees. Believe in America and vote for Mitt/Ryan and Scott.

In this and in all elections I find it funny and no so much at the same time the fact that 1 side will lie/stretch the truth/exaggerate and then will scream and shout when the other side does the same thing. Both sides do it. The worst part no matter what side most are on, they believe their own lies while not believing the other sides truths because they are on one side. And it goes both ways. I wonder what an honest campaign would look like. My guess is that I will never know.
Mike November 06, 2012 at 08:20 PM
Joe, I completely agree with you. This is not how it should work, with huge money on both sides funding misinformation campaigns that spin the truth until it gets dizzy and falls over. This was the saddest, ugliest campaign I've ever seen -- even down to the state and local level.
quasimodo November 06, 2012 at 08:26 PM
I hear Romney outdid himself this time: he flip-flop so much, he ended voting for Obama.
Bob November 06, 2012 at 09:16 PM
Now that is funny! Nice job Quasi! I heard Obama didn't want to commit so he wrote in "Present"
Kevin November 06, 2012 at 10:05 PM
No worries, if Obama is re-elected, he will spend the first year and a half of his term complaining about the mess the previous POTUS left for him to clean up. Oh wait.... PROUD Romney/Brown/Tisei voter here
Tim November 06, 2012 at 10:29 PM
Paul, lay off the profanity. I oppose Romney, but I respect his followers. All but you of course.
Chris Caesar November 06, 2012 at 10:30 PM
A comment has been removed for profanity. I would expect more decorum from a Vice Presidential candidate, "Mr. Ryan."
Bob Rauseo November 06, 2012 at 10:35 PM
When will Patch go to a system where comments are screened BEFORE they appear on the site? This is getting ridiculous. The same word appears on another thread and has been on line for several days. I have flagged it repeatedly but it remains.
Walter White November 06, 2012 at 10:37 PM
Romney, Brown, Tisei
Chris Caesar November 06, 2012 at 10:38 PM
Sorry Bob. Why don't you give me the link and I'll take care of it.
Mitt Romney November 06, 2012 at 11:14 PM
Vote for me everyone NOBAMA 2012
Diana November 07, 2012 at 12:01 AM
Mitt wasn't even smart enough to register in one of the swing states he owns a house in. Man just cast a futile ballot for himself.
Joe Kane November 07, 2012 at 12:28 AM
Diana, At least he was honest!
Joe Kane November 07, 2012 at 12:30 AM

Diana November 07, 2012 at 12:34 AM

Diana November 07, 2012 at 01:07 AM

Dave Gray November 07, 2012 at 01:21 AM
