New Poll Shows Warren with her Biggest Lead of the Campaign

A new poll from Public Policy Polling gives Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren a nine point lead over Senator Scott Brown.

Also taking a hit in the poll was Brown's approval rating that fell to 46 percent. 45 percent of those polled disapproved of the senator's job performance.

Warren however, has enjoyed an increase in her favorable numbers. With 52% of those polled having a favorable view of Warren, the Democratic candidate for Senate now enjoys a difference of plus nine percent between her favorable and unfavorable numbers. 43 percent of those polled had an unfavorable rating of Warren and five percent were unsure.

While Warren has not had trouble leading with women, she now enjoys a 50 percent to 48 percent lead among men. With women, Warren leads 55 percent to 40 percent.

In the Presidential election, the poll found President Barack Obama leading former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romeny 57 percent to 39 percent.
