On Tuesday, May 1, 2012, Sullivan submitted the certified signatures to the Massachusetts Secretary of State's office and he is now officially on the Democratic Primary ballot as a candidate for State Representative.   The Primary will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012. All registered Democrats and Unenrolled/Independents can vote in the Primary election.

"This is an important election for the people of Easton and Brockton. We need a new State Representative for the new 11th Plymouth District.

We need to elect someone who has experience, qualifications and proven leadership abilities.  As a Town Attorney (Randolph, MA since 2009) I have a full understanding of Town issues and concerns, as a City Councilor (since 2006) I have real municipal finance experience having conducted six (6) budgets each over $360 million dollars, and as a former State House Legal Counsel (for the Joint Committee on Election Laws) I have the ability to draft important legislation that will benefit our Community and Commonwealth. In addition, as a small business owner, I clearly understand fiscal responsibility and economic growth.   As a father, husband, and concerned resident I believe that the future of our District depends on electing a qualified, experienced, and independent State Representative" said Sullivan.

"The hundreds and hundreds of Easton and Brockton residents who signed my nomination sheets proves that the Democrat and Unenrolled/Independent voters appreciate a candidate with proven experience who will bring about results and positive change on Beacon Hill.

I look forward to the next four (4) months of campaigning, walking the neighborhoods, knocking on doors and meeting the voters of the District" said Sullivan.
