Higgins Introduced as New Moreau Hall Principal

Easton's newest principal was formally introduced to the school committee Thursday night.

Thomas Higgins, who will take over for Nick Bothello at Moreau Hall, was welcomed by Superintendent Michael Green.

Higgins is currently a third grade teacher at H.H. Richardson school. After working in the district for 13 years, he is excited to continue serving Easton in a different role, he told school committee members.

"Nick [Bothello] has been very helpful with me and the transition process," he said.

Higgins will be the second new principal in Easton schools next fall. Current Moreau Hall reading specialist Ann Weintrob was named as Center School's new principal, replacing Debbie Dicenso, at a school committee meeting earlier this year.
