Maplewood Adds New Classroom, New Teachers

is proudly announcing the opening of a new classroom within their preschool program for the 2012-13 school year.
 
The Daffodils classroom, a two-day program for three and four year olds, will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be taught by local veteran educators Joan Grover and Barbara Turley. Together, the two have over 50 years combined experience in teaching.
 
Grover, who is the mother of well-known Easton educator Jeanne Baxter, has been teaching for over 20 years at varying levels, including preschool. She earned her Master of Education Degree from Lesley University.
 
Turley has been teaching at varying grade levels for almost 40 years, most recently at Moreau Hall in Easton. She earned her Master of Education Degree from Bridgewater State College.
 
Maplewood has been a licensed preschool program for over six years and currently runs two other preschool classrooms for children ages four and five years old.
 
The Morning Glories program, led by Paula Geary, Sarah Dennehy and Cathy Hedlund, offers a two-day option for children who are four years old and a three-day option for children ages four and five.
 
The second classroom, the Buttercups, is directed by Jennifer Blanchard, Sarah Treannie and Tara Walsh. The Buttercups is a five-day program for children ages four and five.
 
Maplewood Preschool provides the ideal combination of fun and learning that will build the foundation for you child’s future academic success and inspire a lifelong love of learning. All classrooms follow a 9am to 1pm schedule, with the option to extend the day by joining the Bridging Program and taking an Enrichment Class (Gymnastics, Sports, Art or Rock Climbing).
