Stonehill Student Discusses Voting Power of Young Adults

Stonehill Senior Jessica Mardo recently blogged on the Huffington Post.

A Stonehill College senior took to the Huffington Post to discuss voting amongst America's youth and college students.

Concerned that too many young people do not go to the polls, Jessica Mardo recently focused her attention on the challenges to greater youth participation in political life. In her blog post, however, Mardo points to a Stonehill initiative that brings together the Martin Institute and campus political clubs. This week, they will open an advice center where students can register to vote, fill out absentee ballots and learn more about the political system.
