Gracie Gold, who was born in Norton and lived in Easton until she was five years old, will represent the United States as a member of the U.S. Olympic Women's Figure Skating Team at the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

This is Gold's first trip to the Olympics. She has been getting plenty of media attention since entering the Olympic-arena. A USA Today article on Gold, 18, Wednesday was headlined: "Gracie Gold poised to grab throne as USA ice princess."

Center Ice of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, where Gracie Gold has done much of her training, according to media reports, had a good luck message posted across the top of its website Thursday that read: "Congrats Gracie Gold — 2014 U.S. National Champion — Good Luck in Sochi."

All eyes are expected to be on Gold at the Olympics to see if she will return home with the gold. You can follow along with her on her Olympic trip as he regularly posts to her Twitter account @GraceEGold. You can view her Twitter updates above!
