David Holmes pitched a complete-game no-hitter and defeated Foxborough Monday

OA Senior David Holmes proved once again why the Tigers have among the best high pitching staffs in the area Monday afternoon.

The senior hurler pitched a complete-game no-hitter to lead his team to a 1-0 Davenport Division victory over Foxborough Monday afternoon.

With the win, OA improved to 12-5 overall, 11-4 in the Hockomock League and 7-1 in the Davenport Division. The Tigers will take top honors in the division for the second year in a row.

OA will travel to Franklin to face the Panthers Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 in the Hockomock League crossover game.

Foxborough dropped to 5-13 overall and 3-11 in the Hock.

Looks like there were a lot of spectators there to witness this. Also, is there no backstop at this field?
