Laughs for Lax Comedy Night Will Benefit Easton Youth Lacrosse

Event scheduled for April 28.

Submitted to Easton Patch:

The Easton Tigers Youth Lacrosse will be hosting an evening of laughs and fun that will surely have you in stitches.  The Laughs for Lax Comedy Night will be held on April 28th, 2012 at the Thorny Lea Golf Club from 7:00pm-11:00pm. All proceeds from this evening of FUNdraising go directly to supporting the young athletes of Easton Tigers Youth Lacrosse.

The evening will include performances by Easton's very own funny girl Kerry Louise as well as the comedic styling of Greg Boggis and Rick Canavan.

Kerri can entertain any audience with her warmth and razor-edge wit. So it’s no wonder that Kerri is a regular correspondent on the Oprah Winfrey Show and that NBC took Kerri all the way to the finals in the Last Comic Standing with Jay Mohr. Kerri may not have gotten in the house on the hit reality show, but she impressed The Women's Entertainment Network enough that alongside her husband and twin baby boys, she has become the star of their new reality show called "TWO FUNNY".  After giving birth to her 3rd boy, Kerri became a regular radio personality on The Radio Rita’s show where she gives common sense, funny, mommy advice as the “Mean Mommy”. Kerri's broad appeal has made her a natural for television appearances like NBC's Access Hollywood, The Apprentice, The View, Comedy Central, VH1, 20/20, New Joke City and The "New" Dr. OZ show and gave her the resume to land a role in her recent movie debut, The Next Karate Kid.  Part Gen-X, part Girl-Next-Door, Kerri Louise is a pleasure to watch and is sure to leave you laughing out loud.

Please join us in what is sure to be a night of good times and lots of laughs.  Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door (if available).  Ticket price includes appetizers, photobooth and fun!  We will also have some great raffle items the night of the event, including an Apple iPad 3, $300 Spa Day at La Novita Salon and Spa, Golf foursomes, local sports tickets and more.  Don't miss out- get your tickets now as this event is expected to sell out!

The game of lacrosse is growing quickly in Easton and the surrounding area and is evident in our growing organization. The ETYL program has been growing at a steady pace and almost doubled from the 2011 season.  This growth has been evident in both our boy’s and girl’s program with an expansion this season to now support female athletes at all levels from Kindergarten-8th Grade.  Come out and see what the buzz is all about- all home games are played on Sundays at the Oliver Ames Turf Field.
