OA Golf Team Still Unbeaten at 11-0

The following is a statement about the Oliver Ames Golf Team:

The Oliver Ames Tigers golf team extended its unbeaten streak with 4 wins in 4 days. The Tigers record now stands at 11-0.

On Monday, the Tigers defeated Milford at home by the score of 144 to 171.  Scoring for OA were JP Abela (33), Nick Carter (35), Kyle Mathieson (38), and James Shalhoup (38).

On Tuesday, the team played at the very challenging Foxboro Country Club where they narrowly escaped with a 170-174 win.  Scoring for OA were Nick Carter (41), James Shalhoup (41), Sam Minsky (44) and Steven Tasho (44).

On Wednesday, against perennial powerhouse Mansfield OA earned a solid win- 145-157 at Pine Oaks.  Scoring for OA were Sam Minsky (34), Kyle Mathieson (35), and JP Abela (38), Nick Carter (38), Brady Allbritton (38), & Steven Tasho (38).

The Tigers capped off the week with a win at Pine Oaks against Canton by the score of 146-162.  Scoring for Oliver Ames were Nick Carter (35), Steven Tasho (36), Kyle Mathieson (37), and James Shalhoup (38).

Next Tuesday, the team will face its toughest challenge of the season when it travels to Blue Hills Country Club for a rematch against Canton. Also on tap are home matches against Foxboro on Wednesday and against King Philip on Friday.
