Oliver Ames Announces Spring Sports Registration Information

Below is information for spring sports at Oliver Ames High School provided by OA Athletic Director Bill Matthews:

Spring Tryouts begin Monday, March 18 or baseball, softball, boys & girls lacrosse, boys and girls tennis and boys and girls track.

Registration and activity fee payments will all be completed online. The link to register online is at www.oliverames.org/sports.

Sports Physical exams will be conducted by Dr. Dern on Wed, March 6th at 2:00PM in the nurse's office at OA.  Fee is $15 and can be paid at the exam.  Exams are on a 1st come 1st serve basis.  Physicals are valid 13 months to the day.  If an athlete’s physical expires during the season, that player is ineligible until an updated physical is provided to the coach.

ImPACT concussion baseline testing will be conducted in the computer labs (rooms 102 and 104 of the high school) as follows:

• Thursday, Feb 28 at 2:15
• Tuesday, Mar 5 at 2:15

Athletes participating in Baseball, Lacrosse and Softball are required to take the test every 2 years.  If an athlete has not taken the test last year or this year, he/she will need to take it in order to tryout.
