The OA Tigers beat the Sharon eagles in the annual Thanksgiving football game, held at Sharon High School this year, 25 to 7, according t Head Coach James Artz .
After a scoreless first quarted, the Eagles were first to put points on the board in the second quarter with an 80 yard touchdown run from Evantz Elisima and an extra point kicked by Sean Sullivan, but the Tigers answered with two more scores--a five-yard touchdown reception and a 15-yard touchdown reception, both from Nick Cidado to Franklin Holgate. Nick Sanborn kicked the extra point for the first touchdown and the kicked was missed for the second, making the score 13 to 7 at the half.
The tigers scored two more touchdowns with missed kicks in the third quarter-- a nine-yard touchdown run form Nick Cidado and an 11-yard touchdown run from Josh Briggs--making the final score 25 to 7.
