Monday Essentials: Poetry Reading at the Library, Visit the Original Easton Farmer's Market

See what's ahead this week in Easton.

1. Tonight at 6:30 is "For the Love of Words--Open Mic night," at the Ames Free Library. You can bring "your new poetry, your unfinished or not-so-sure-of poetry, and of course, your favorite famous or unknown poet's work - we love them all and would love to hear from you! Hosted by George Comeaux and Rich Berg; free and open to all.

2. Be sure to visit The Original Easton Farmers’ Market , open Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

3. Today at Town Hall, there is a Conservation Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. and a Board of Selectmen Meeting at 7 p.m.  

4. There is a Cultural Commission meeting at 5 p.m. tomorrow, a Municipal Building Committee Meeting at 5:30 p.m., and an Easton Historical Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. 

5. The Affordable Housing Trust at 5:30 p.m. this Wednesday.
