Founded by Brian Billone and Dave Brown, the Brown/Billone Club is a private tennis and swim facility located on Chestnut Street. The club features five indoor clay courts, four outdoor clay courts, three indoor hard courts, a half basketball court, a volleyball-badminton court and an outdoor pool area, offering instruction and competition programs for members of all ages. Each has been teaching tennis in New England for more than 20 years. Dave Brown Dave has been teaching tennis throughout New England since 1985, and has been a member of the United States Professional Teaching Association (USPTA) since 1986. Dave is a former top junior player in New England and continued his competitive career and education at Old Dominion University. Dave is former top ten ranked in the Men's Open Division in New England. Dave pioneered the Bollettieri Alliance Academy program, a joint venture with the Nick Bollettieri Academy. This academy satellite program offers intensive and highly focused drills, stroke analysis, supervised match play, videotaping, fitness and mental conditioning. Tennis memberships are sold annually and will activate from the day you sign up. Our cyclical tennis year begins September 1 2011 and continues until August 31 2012. Pool memberships are seasonal and run from Memorial Day until Labor Day. We do offer a July and August family pool membership for $499. Additionally we offer a late summer pool membership from August 1st to Labor Day for $299 Swim Overview Swim For recreation and fitness, the swim center is open Memorial Day, Labor Day. Enjoy a quiet setting and swim center amenities adjacent to the clubhouse and outdoor courts. Many upgrades and improvements will be made to our pool and pool area for This upcoming summer. Our pool will now be Heated. Members will enjoy a new food service as well as a new comprehensive Junior Swim Program. This will include American Red Cross Learn To Swim Programs, and Adult and Youth Private and Semi Private Swim Lessons Swim Current 2011 Swim Programs The Brown Billone Club is now accepting registrations for its 2011 summer swim program. Both members and non members are welcome. Our swim program will run the weeks of June 27, August 25 with the July 4th week off.
