This is the perfect place to go... any time! Great food, great staff - a real community and 'welcoming' bar. Please bring back the Baramundi fish - best dish I've ever had!

The entire Maguire's team, owners, waitstaff, hostesses and kitchen make this place such a terrific eating and drinking establishment that there is no need to eat at home, and we hardly ever do!
Blackboard specials are 5 star and priced so you can feel good about going often. Last but not least are the local regular customers, who make Maguire's the "cheers" of Easton!
Super post by Sinclair. Yes, indeed early on, in my dad's coaching career at OA, Clem Spillane and his superb Wareham teams had the measure of OA. Wareham beat OA in the the '56 Class C Tech Tourney finals at Boston Garden, and also beat OA in the South Shore Tournament Class A finals one year. But OA turned the favor on Wareham later on in a series of games, including a South Shore Class A championship game, and a big win over Wareham in the "new gym" in the new high school at the end of Columbus Avenue. Funny story, in that Class A South Shore final in which Wareham beat OA, OA actually went up like 18-0 to start the game, and as Connie and Clemmie's cousin, Leo Kent, told me, with OA up by that big margin (and I believe the game was played at Bridgwater State College), Connie stood up in the stands and bellowed, "Clemmie, the bets are all in, now let the horses loose." And, indeed, Wareham commenced a comeback and would eventually win the game.
Best Buffalo Wings on the South Shore. Ownership - Michael, Neil, and Pat -- are great guys and run a quality business with exceptional food, and the ownership commits to supporting the local community.
Before it was "Buddy's" Union Villa, it was Spillane's Union Villa. The Spillane family was also well known in coaching. Former Eastoner Clem Spillane coached Wareham High School's basketball teams to several Hockomock championships, often edging out (Muzzie's) Oliver Ames by a few points in the finals. Clem Spillane coached in Easton before he went on to his glory days in Wareham.
His basketball teams played a full-court press defense in every game. They were in the greatest of shape as you can imagine.
His brother (or cousin) was the legendary Connie Spillane who coached Easton Huskies baseball. He was known as "fer cripe sakes Connie"!
Clem Spillane lived with his family on North Main Street, second house on the left, before moving to Wareham. The late Sylvia Broman, another great OA athlete, lived a stone's throw away on Linden Street.
The Union Villa is, by far, the oldest restaurant and bar in Easton, not Maguire's. The "Villa" goes back to post World War II. By comparison, Maguire's is a newcomer.
When we opened our doors on June 6, 1993 one of the first people to sit at our bar was Buddy. He introduced himself to me, welcomed us to the community and said “if there is ever anything you need, give me a call”.
That spirit of community and giving is carried on by Michael and the entire Richard’s family today. The Villa is a local treasure. We are blessed every time they open their doors and turn on their lights. It is one of my favorite places.

Maguires might be called a Bar & Grill, but it is so far from the Bar atmosphere. It's where family meet family, friends meet friends, sports teams meet sports teams, and the communnity comes together, night after night, week after week, and year after year. The food is outstanding, the ownetr's take personal pride in getting to lnow their patrons, the waitresses are caring and accommodating, the blackboard specials are of gourmet quality, and their presentations are creative. Who wouldn't want to make Maguire's a regular stop in their eating out experience?
