(continued)-If you want excellent medical care from doctors who are knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring and who have taken the extra time to have supportive assistants this is the practice for you. There are times we have to wait past our scheduled appointment time but that is because they will not rush you when they are taking care of you. They will sit down and listen to you and then treat you accordingly. Medicine is not always easy so they will take as much time as you need to be sure they have all the information they need to help you. When it is your turn to see them they will make you feel like you are their only patient and only concern at that time. They will call you, they will explain anything to you. If you need a referral you will get it. If you are not sure they are making the best choice for you then they will gladly listen to any of your concerns or recommendations. I am so thankful to have had them in our lives for the past 15 years. I called more times than you can imagine when the boys were small and I promise you that the medical assistants were like my friends. They have always been kind and patient with me and honestly I can't imagine my life without them.

Trinity Family medicine is an excellent family practice. I have been part of this practice since they opened and was a patient from the practice they were in before. I have 3 grown boys who were taken care of by these wonderful Doctors. Katie and Geoff Gilson have boys that are similar in age to my boys so they have always made us feel as though they were able to identify with our lives. It is a practice that has a religious component to it if you are interested in receiving spiritual support from them. I have chosen to raise my children to be good young men without a formal religion and this practice has been the perfect place to have that freedom. There is so much to being a truly great doctor that is not measured just by their diploma on the wall. They certainly are knowledgeable but they offer so much more. They have great bed side manner. They have personal experience raising their own family. The office staff have always been kind to us and the medical assistants have gotten to know each of us and have made us feel like family. They check in with the boys and ask them about school and sports. They always comment on how much they have grown and how handsome they are. They have taken the time over the years to get to know each one of us. My mother is also part of the practice and they always ask me how she is and tell me how much they love her.

Great doctors office. The receptionist are excellent especially kelly and they are always very accommodating. Would not go anywhere else.

My children are patients here and these doctors are amazing! They take there time with me and my family and show there concern for us.I have no problem getting in on the same day for a sick visit they are very accommodating! Also love the office staff always so helpful with any questions i have and setting up speacialist appointments.I would highly recommend these doctors!

As someone who hates going to the doctor, I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Katie Gilson is kind, compassionate, and a wonderful doctor. I definitely recommend Trinity.

I have to say that I had a terrible experience with this practice. First of all, they do not make it clear (until you get there) that they are a religiously-based practice. I'm sorry, but I go to a doctor for medical care, not spiritual support, but you may differ on that. Secondly, I made a point of getting the first appointment in the morning so that the doctor wouldn't be late. She made me wait over an hour, for no discernible reason and with no explanation or apology. But of most concern to me was that when I had what I thought was the usual blood tests for bg levels, cholesterol, etc., SOMEHOW they also did genetic testing. When I asked how and why this was done, no one--and I mean NO ONE--could answer that question. Genetic testing has very real consequences for insurance; it is something that should never be done without explanation as to its necessity and without consent. No one even knew why the test was done, let alone who ordered it. I got out of that practice immediately.

This is a great "whole person" medical practice. I am lucky that I usually only need an annual physical but both Dr.s Gilson and Denise are wonderful and very skilled. The assistants are great at the lab work and the screenings. The front desk personnel are efficient and very helpful. I would never hestiate to recommend this practice.

I have been a patient of both Dr. Geoff Gilson and Dr. Kathleen Gilson for over 10 years, even years before Trinity opened. I can not express the positive impact on my physical health, my mental health, and my spiritual health both doctors have had on me and my children. I suffered from a multitude of ailments over the years that had a negative impact not only on me, but my family, my children, and my career. Had it not been for the extensive, professional, and compassionate care of these phenomenal doctors, my life would not be the success it is today. At one point, I was in the office on a monthly basis due to chronic illnesses. The staff, the nurses, and both doctors guided me out of a "physical prison". Each encounter with all the staff and my doctors brought me one step closer to an incredible freedom of health, fitness, and healing. I remember one incident with my asthma that was so bad I felt as though I may not make it. Dr. Geoffrey Gilson personally made sure, after hours, that I was properly cared for in the emergency room. There have been times Dr. Kathleen Gilson has called me at night to give me important test results, just to ease my mind of excruciating worry. There are many many more stories over a decade of healthcare that is unmatched by any other practitioner. Their passion for their patients is beyond what words can describe. I highly, highly recommend these outstanding doctors and the entire staff at Trinity!!

Dr. Geoff Gilson has always been extremely caring and compassionate, and most of all, he listens. He has changed how I view my health, and has encouraged and helped me to take better care of myself by explaining in a very realistic and honest way what I can do to improve my health. What I especially appreciate is that he is very honest with me, and treats me as an equal, explaining health issues very plainly to me. That has not always been true for me with other doctors. The office staff is excellent and very responsive when I call, especially when I am sick. I can’t image going anywhere else.

I've seen the Gilsons for about 5 years and have always received exemplary and timely care from the moment I have walked in the door until the moment I check out. They not only care for patients with great knowledge and insight into their medical concerns, but they speak thoughtfully into their hearts as well. I would recommend this practice to any family.

This is an AMAZING Doctor's office. The staff is kind and professional. Dr. Geoff Gilson is the best physician I've ever had. I've always felt that he had a genuine care and concern for all aspects of my well being.

I'm almost 45 years old and I never realized what good healthcare was until I started going to Trinity. I know that sounds crazy, but it's absolutely true. I've had several PCPs in my adult life and it was always the same deal: Make an appointment, wait for an hour in the waiting room to be seen, have the doctor rush through the exam and rarely have any of them actually take the time to listen to me. My sister was a patient at Trinity and after I had a particularly bad experience with my doctor, she pretty much demanded that I go see Dr. Gilson. I got an appointment right away and was floored when Dr. Gilson pulled up a stool and had a conversation with me about what was going on with me. I explained my situation and that my previous doctor had been monitoring a condition for over a year without ever actually treating it. Every visit was "come back in 3 months and we'll see how it goes." After viewing my blood work Dr. Gilson immediately prescribed a medication that in a matter of weeks improved my quality of life dramatically. While my previous doctor was content to just string me along, Dr. Gilson wanted to DO SOMETHING to treat me. I don't even think he understands what a positive impact that he has had on my life. I could not be more grateful for the care and compassion that I receive at Trinity.

I have been a patient of Dr. Katie Gilson since 1997 and my husband has been a patient of Dr. Geoff Gilson for 5 years. Over the course of 17 years, Dr. Gilson has seen me through some very difficult medical conditions and never lost sight of me as a person. Not only was she medicinally treating me, she was caring and supportive on an emotional level as well. At times I have also seen Dr. Geoff Gilson, who like his wife, treat the whole person, not just the ailment. The compassion and support I have received from the Gilson's and their practice has been an integral part of my life and where I am today. I would definitely recommend their practice to anyone searching for a PCP in the area.

My husband and I have been coming to Trinity Family Medical since opening and came from their previous practice. We are so pleased with how Drs Geoff and Katie Gilson have care for us through many tough situations. They not only give us not only great medical care but compassion as well for us and how our whole family is impacted.

I'm so grateful for this practice. I have had nothing but positive experiences with both the staff and all the doctors at Trinity Family Medicine. I see Dr. Geoff Gilson and he has always been extremely throughout and caring. He spends so much time with you and really listens to your concerns. I've also seen Dr. Katie Gilson and she shown nothing but compassion for me, whether it's a simple ear infection or a serious case of pneumonia, I've felt cared for and received excellent medical care. After going to several practices that treat you like a number, I've really enjoyed being treated as a whole person at Trinity.

I can't speak for anyone else's experience but we love Trinity Family Medicine. We are a family of 5 and all of us are patients here. We were recommended to them after moving here in 2001 and haven't gone anywhere else.
The doctors, RNs, assistants and office staff are great. They remember our names, details about our family shared in casual conversation and are not difficult to see on short notice. TFM rocks!

Worst doctor's office I've ever been to. It would be nice to be spoken to like I'm a real person. The reception staff is absolutely horrible, I have been ignored, hung up on and argued with every single time I have tried contacting this office or shown up for a doctor's appointment. I also keep getting falsely billed for missed appointments that I never made. Don't choose this doctor's office!

WOW...Never calling that practice ...and I know so many new families in town!

I am a patient there and I hate this office. The only reason I continue to go there is because I love Denise she is awesome but Kathleen and her husband are aweful doctors! They have no respect for their patients or sympathy. Their receptionist are rude over the phone, want to know in depth details as to why you need an appointment and sometimes don't want to book you for an appointment and suggest that you go to the CVS min. clinic. How can they have people like this working for them but what can you expect from the two that own this business and they say that they put patients first....yea right!

Since Dr. Kathleen Gilson owns this business w/ her husband so there will be no recourse for her stupidity which is only compounded by the inefficiency of her "staff". She has completely disregarded her obligation to her patient. She is uncommunicative and uncaring.
