Union Villa is a low-key restaurant that serves burgers, sandwiches, pizza and more. A great place to relax with a drink, this grill and pub also sells beer and liquor. Customers can play Keno at the bar, watch TV or enjoy dinner and drinks in one of the many booths along the wall.

"Low key"? I wouldn't say that exactly.

It's hard to fathom the appeal of this place. And I know there is appeal to it because it is completely packed most nights. My guess is that it's because Easton has so few restaurants for a town it's size that anyplace that's fairly cheap and accessible and has a "townie" atmosphere is going to do well by default.

The food is just okay. The steak tips and pizza aren't bad but after trying several other items, I think I'd stick with the steak tips and pizza.

The atmosphere - how can I put this delicately - is loud and grimy. There's a Bud sign in one corner that has cobwebs in it that are probably older than I am. The ladies room dates back to the origins of the building and reminds me of something you'd see in an old gas station. And then there are the kids who seem to be endlessly running around. Granted, the seats, especially in the booths, aren't exactly comfortable, so I don't blame anyone for not staying in them the entire time, but apparently the parents who visit the Union Villa feel it's completely appropriate to allow their kids run, skip and jump all over the place. I know, I know, it ain't fine dining, but it's not a playground either.

I love taking my family there. The waitstaff is very nice and accomodating if we have a large group. Pizza is the best around. We also love the steak tips! I think alot more people should try this place and not just drive by. You'll be sorry, the food is great!
