Easton first responders and members of the Easton community gathered at Easton Fire Station 1 on Lothrop Street Tuesday morning to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Firefighters rang the bell in front of the station as a last alarm "for firefighters who did not return from the call," the American flag was lowered to half-mast, and those lost were remembered with a moment of silence. Easton Fire Chief Kevin Partridge led the ceremony.
