Police responded to a possible race involving approximately 50 vehicles in Easton Industrial Park early Monday morning.
Easton Police responded to a call at approximately 12:20 a.m. Monday morning regarding noise near the D'Angelo's plaza parking lot, where one caller reportedly heard gunshots, and a possible race near the Easton Industrial Park. Upon responding, police found nothing showing at the D'Angelo's parking lot. However, there were approximately 50 vehicles on Bristol Drive at the Easton Industrial Park, most of which fled when police arrived. The license plates of the remaining vehicles were recorded. State Police charge woman with drunk driving after a fatal accident late Saturday night.
An Easton woman was killed and two others were seriously injured late Saturday night in a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 24 in Stoughton that involved an alleged drunk driver, Massachusetts State Police said. Maureen O'Brien Ellis, 54, was killed when a collision ejected her from a vehicle. Patricia L. Neville-Colp, 48, of Bridgewater was arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court. She pleaded "not guilty" and Judge Richard Savignano set her bail at $100,000. He ordered her to random alcohol and drug tests. Her next court date is Oct. 11. A two car crash sent responders to the dangerous intersection Monday morning.
Emergency responders were sent to the intersection of Foundry and Turnpike Street (routes 106 and 138) Friday at approximately 8:20 a.m. as a result of a two car motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and no medical transport was required for either driver. False Alarm Early Morning Friday A fire alarm sent fire officials to 302 Bay Road at approximately 2:25 a.m. Friday. Upon arrival, officials found that the alarm system went off as a result of security bars on windows. Carbon Monoxide Investigation on Elm Street Emergency officials were sent to Elm Street at approximately 8:10 p.m. Thursday to investigate a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. Upon investigation, zero readings were found.

A cement truck knocked down wires at the intersection Saturday.
An accident shut down traffic Saturday morning at North Main and Elm after a cement truck struck poles, knocking wires into the road. Police received multiple 911 calls at approximately 8:40 a.m. regarding the accident. National Grid and Verizon were notified while detail officers were sent to the scene to direct traffic. No injuries were reported. Suspicious Activity Near Center School Early Friday Police received a call at approximately 1:55 a.m. Friday to report two teens walking near Center School towards Five Corners, each carrying a baseball bat. Wow again alcohol destroys many lives. Every day this happens all over the country, but for some reason with THIS drug we trust people to use it responsibly.
