State Police Foot Pursuit Leads to Arrest Near Easton Border

A 24-year-old woman was arrested after fleeing into the woods on Route 24 in Raynham.

A State Police foot chase just outside of Easton on Route 24 resulted in the arrest of a 24 year-old female Thursday afternoon. The suspect, whose name was not immediately released, was wanted for possession of a Class A substance and was wanted on eight separate arrest warrants, according to State Police. She was stopped on Route 24 in Raynham and fled into the woods wearing a dress and high heals, State Police said. A passenger in the vehicle was detained as well. "She was tracked by a K-9 through several streets in Raynham before being caught trying to make her way back through the woods to Route 24," State Police said in a statement. "She surrendered to troopers without further incident and will be booked at the barracks in Middleboro."

Investigation Leads to Easton Man's Arrest For Breaking and Entering and Unarmed Assault

An Easton man was arrested last week for receiving stolen property, breaking and entering a dwelling home in the daytime and unarmed assault while committing a felony, Police Chief Allen Krajcik said this week. Steven Giouard, 25, of 199 Depot Street was taken into custody after he allegedly broke into a neighbor's house, Krajcik said. The break-in occurred  Tuesday, July 24 on Depot Street. Police responded at approximately 6:30 p.m. after a resident arrived home to allegedly find Giouard in the house. "The homeowners had left their home for a short time and when the returned Girouard was inside and had stolen several items," Krajcik said. Teens Allegedly Held at Knifepoint at Stoughton's Skate Park Stoughton Police responded to the Stoughton skate park, located behind the stands of the Stoughton High football field and across from the O'Donnell Middle School, at 5:04 p.m. on April 13 for a report of stolen bikes. Police found that two teen victims were allegedly threatened at knifepoint for the two bikes by the two 17-year-old perpetrators, according to the SPD Facebook page.  Both perpetrators were arrested. Easton Resident Arrested for Burglary in Mansfield

After allegedly breaking into a vehicle in Mansfield, an Easton resident has been charged with breaking and entering and theft.

A weekend arrest in Mansfield has an Easton resident in hot water. Gregory Cotter was arrested in Mansfield on Sunday for breaking into a vehicle for a felony, larceny over $250 and possession of a burglary instrument. Cotter, 22, of 6 Rainbow Cir. in Easton was arrested after a caller on Bonney Lane reported seeing him breaking into a black Dodge Stealth in the area. Mansfield Police responded by first requesting a K-9 unit and sending out detectives to search the location. Sergeant Francis Archer found Cotter a half hour after the initial call behind the Rotenberg Center. Archer took him into custody behind Stearns Avenue after allegedly finding the radio to the vehicle in the area.

Police Arrest Three in Two Separate Housebreaks Tuesday

Houses in Marshall Road and Peterson Road were allegedly broken into Tuesday

Houses on Peterson Road and Marshall Road were allegedly broken into Tuesday in two unrelated incidents. The two alleged break-ins resulted in the arrest of three individuals by Easton Police. Easton Police Chief Allen Krajcik said Leon Pacheco, 30, of 25 Chase St in Taunton and Letitia Boissoneault, 25, of 713 Walnut St Fall River were arrested Tuesday night after breaking into a Peterson Road home and allegedly assaulting and injuring the homeowner. Pacheco is being charged with armed home invasion, assault and battery and intimidation of a witness.  Boissoneault is being charged with home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and she also had an outstanding arrest warrant for larceny from a building. Taunton Man Arrested After Allegedly Colliding With a Police Cruiser in an Early Morning Chase

Michael P. Brennan of Taunton was arrested for five charges early Sunday

A Taunton man was arrested early Sunday morning after he sent Easton police on a chase that resulted in some damaged lawns and a collision with a police cruiser. Police Chief Allen Krajcik said Michael P. Brennan, 31, of 132 North Walker Street, Taunton was arrested for operating negligibly, failing to stop for police, leaving the scene of property damage, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (his vehicle) and speeding. Brennan was released on bail and is expected to appear in Taunton District Court Monday morning. A Milton man's arrest is one of three OUI arrests this past week.

A Milton man was arrested by Easton Police for drunk driving late Saturday night. Davine J. Hill, 25, was pulled over at approximately 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Susan Road and Washington Street. He was charged with operating under the influence and released on $100 bail. OUI Arrest Made Outside Sing Yee Chinese and American Restaurant A Middleboro man was arrested early in the morning Saturday after a caller described a small black SUV with its lights on outside of Sing Yee Chinese Restaurant. Easton Police Arrest Two for OUI Tuesday

A Norton man and an Easton man were arrested by Easton police

Easton Police arrested a Norton man and an Easton man Tuesday for drinking and driving in two seperate incidents. Matthew Walsh, 50, of 205 Old Taunton Ave, Norton and Brian Van Parys, 45, of 736 Washington St., South Easton were charged with operating under the influence of alcohol.  Van Parys was also charged with operating to endanger. Both were arraigned in Taunton District Court. Walsh was pulled over at approximately 10:30 a.m. in North Easton Village Shoppes. After an investigation, Sgt. John Lynn and Det. Drunk Driver Found Asleep at Easton Intersection

A Norton man was arrested by Easton Police Tuesday night for his third offense of drunk driving.

A Norton man was arrested Tuesday night after he was found asleep at the intersection of Eastman Street and Foundry Street (routes 106 and 123) near Hannaford Supermarkets. John J. Flynn, 69, of Kensington Road, Norton was arrested for his third offense of drunk driving after a caller reported the incident and removed his key from Flynn's Saab before waking him. Easton Officers Keith Boone and Robert Tuohy made the arrest. Police said the incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. and Flynn was held on $1,000 bail overnight.
