AROUND TOWN: Former Carriage House Restaurant Sits as Rubble
Arrests made last night in West Bridgewater could be related to a string of arson fires.

The restaurant formerly known as the Carriage House and the Diplomat burned to the ground in November. Thursday, it sits as a pile of rubble overlooking Route 138. Fire Officials determined that the fire was intentionally set, and it has been linked to a string of arson-related fires in the area over the course of the fall and early winter. Just last night, two were arrested in West Bridgewater for setting fire to a commercial building, according to the Boston Globe.
