One person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital after a three-car motor vehicle accident Saturday. Easton emergency officials responded to the scene at approximately 5 p.m. Easton fire officials transported the patient. Rollover Accident at the Corner of Central Street and Short Street Easton emergency officials responded to a rollover accident on the corner of Central Street and short Street Friday night at approximately 5 p.m. A Nissan carrying two 18 year-olds and two 20 year-olds flipped after sliding into a stone wall in heavy rain. Nobody was injured. According to the crash report, the vehicle was traveling east in the eastbound lane on Central Street. The operator of the vehicle stated that when she approached a curve in the roadway near the intersection of Short Street there was a stopped vehicle in the road and attempted to turn left onto Short Street. William Martin was flown to Brigham and Women's hospital Tuesday afternoon after his car struck a tree at 351 Foundry Street.
An Easton man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when his car struck a tree on Foundry Street. William Martin, 31, was transported via Medflight to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after his Toyota sedan struck a tree in the front lawn of 315 Foundry Street, Easton Fire Captain Tony Gomes said. A hospital spokesperson at Brigham and Women's was unable to release the condition of Martin at this time. No other injuries occurred and no one else was in the car with Martin, Gomes said. He said the accident occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. and the cause of the crash is undetermined at this time. A helicopter landed at Raynham-Taunton Dog Track on Route 138 to transfer Martin to Boston.
