Wednesday, October 24, 2012
To the Editor: We wanted to take a minute to tell our fellow residents that we believe Claire Cronin is the best candidate for State Representative in our district. We are in the process of opening a new breakfast and lunch café, The Farmer’s Daughter on Main Street in North Easton. The decision to undertake this and make the leap of faith has been a bit easier because of the counsel and support of Claire Cronin. Claire understands the risks faced by small business owners as she and her husband Ray have been starting, managing and growing small businesses for many years. Her understanding and support as a sounding board added to our great desire to start The Farmer’s Daughter. We are committed to making this a spot where friends, families …

Easton Selectman Dan Murphy is the Republican nominee in the 11th Plymouth District State Rep race.
When voters in Easton and Brockton take to the polls on Nov. 6 to vote for a new State Representative in Easton and Brockton, Selectman Dan Murphy (R - Easton) hopes the perspective and experience he brings to the table will help him earn a spot on Beacon Hill. "I’m not asking them to vote Republican," Murphy said. "I’m asking them to vote for me. I hope Unenrolleds and Democrats vote for me because they listen to what I’m talking about, they think the problems I want to address are important, and they see that I have the background, experience and specific proposals to address them. I would say: Forget about where somebody lives. Forget about the letter next to their name. At the end of the day, who do you think is going to be the best …
