4th Congressional District GOP Candidate Sean Bielat Votes in Norfolk

The GOP candidate for Congress voted at the Freeman-Kennedy School in Norfolk this morning along with his wife Hope.

For the first time in almost 30 years, the winner of tonight’s 4th Congressional Election will not be Barney Frank but rather a new member of Congress. With Frank retiring when his term ends in January, either Democrat Joe Kennedy or Republican Sean Bielat will succeed Frank as the district’s congressman. Easton became a part of the 4th Congressional District when new maps were drawn this year. At a little after 10 a.m., Bielat, along with his wife, Hope, and two young children, Theo and Seraphina, stopped at the Freedman-Kennedy School in Norfolk to cast their ballots for the general election. Kennedy Makes a Stop in Easton

Kennedy discussed issues ranging from Iran to DJ Henry during his campaign stop at the Five Corners' Shaw's

Joseph Kennedy III (D-Brookline) made a stop in the Shovel Town Saturday morning as part of a seven-town, two day long tour across the southern portion of Congressional District 4. Kennedy, the former Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, announced his candidacy for Congress last month. Since then, he has spent his time campaigning across the region. Saturday's meet and greet at the Five Corners' Shaw's was his first stop in Easton. "It’s been great," he said.
