Center School Principal Announces Retirement
After nine years, Center School will have a new leader next year.
Center School Principal Debbie Dicenso will retire after this year. The announcement came at a school committee meeting last week in which Committee Chair Jane Martin read a letter from Dicenso to the rest of the committee. "Working with such a caring, honest, invested staff has truly been a gift," Dicenso wrote in her letter. Dicenso has been the principal of Center School for the past nine years. Prior to that, she spent 27 years as a teacher in the Stoughton school system. "She’s certainly done an outstanding job throughout the years and has been a very valued member of our administrative cabinent team," Superintendent Michael Green said.
