Oliver Ames Hockey Downs Dennis-Yarmouth, Advances to Sectional Quarter Finals
Led by two Sean Kyne goals, the Tigers outplayed Dennis-Yarmouth Wednesday in Bourne.
The Oliver Ames boys' hockey team may have only been hitting on all cylinders during the first and third periods, but that was more than enough Wednesday afternoon at the Gallo Arena in Bourne. "We’ve been having trouble in the second period all year long," OA coach Jim Sullivan said. "I don’t know what it is but we just can’t play three periods. But, we took the first period, started it off and then finished it off in the third so I’m happy." The No. 4 Tigers scored twice in the first and twice in the third to beat No. 13 Dennis-Yarmouth in the Div. 2 South Sectional First Round game, 4-1.
