Dorothy L. (Loud) Bourne, age 91, of South Easton, died Nov. 13, 2012, at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater, following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Basil L. Bourne. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Herman H. and Florence (Smith) Loud. Dorothy and her late husband founded, developed and operated Bourne Transportation in Brockton for many years. After her retirement in 1987, she enjoyed winters in Florida and summers on Cape Cod. Dorothy enjoyed bowling and had been on a local bowling league in her earlier years.
