On a snowy Tuesday morning, a bulldozer sat behind the Stoneforge where a large mixed-use development is planned. After a few stagnant years, Queset Commons construction has picked up in the last few months. The Local Initiative Project or "friendly 40B" was approved by Town Meeting voters in 2008. It is slated to be a development with hundreds of residential units and additional space for retail. With years of experience in culinary arts and restaurant management, along with a love for cooking that dates back to her childhood, Chandra Gouldrup had all the ingredients needed to become a proud restaurant owner. All she was missing was a place for her business. Thankfully for her, Main Street Cafe', located at 122 Main Street, officially closed it's doors last May, leaving a vacancy in Easton and an opportunity for Gouldrup.
