The Easton Democratic Town Committee, together with the Democratic Town Committees of Sharon, Canton and Stoughton, gathered at the Suffolk Grille in Canton on Monday, January 21, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which is also the date of President Barack Obama's second inaugural. To the Editor: The Easton Democratic Town Committee has endorsed the following candidates who will appear on the ballot on November 6, 2012. In the race for the 3rd Bristol District of the State House of Representatives, the Committee has endorsed Sherry Costa Hanlon a current member of the Taunton City Council. The 3rd Bristol District represents Precinct 6 in the Town of Easton. In the race for the 11th Plymouth District of the State House of Representatives, the Committee has endorsed Claire Cronin, a mediation attorney and resident of Easton.
