From Kane Funeral Home: Bruce Moffitt, 49, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness. Born on June 17, 1963, a son of Warren Moffitt of Easton and the late Edna J. (Comer) Moffitt, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. Bruce began working as a mechanic at the age of 18 for his fathers business, Warren's Service of Brockton and later became the owner of the business upon his father's retirement. He later went to work for Waste Management as a driver and for the past 10 years he was employed by UPS of Brockton in the warehouse division. Born in Boston on April 30, 1940, a son of the late John and Patricia (Colligan) Meadows, he was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. A veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War, he served as a Private in Company D, 1st Airborne Battle Group 501st Infantry, and earned the Parachutist Badge. INGLIS William T. 79 of Easton, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly on January 13, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare in Stoughton. He was born in Arlington. He was honorably discharged by the United States Army in 1959. He retired from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company in July of 1994 as a Systems Analyst after more than 40 years of service. Bill (The Babe) loved his girls, the Red Sox, Pats, Celtics and playing cards. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his four surviving daughters, their families and his friends. (Bodio) Jennings for 26 years. Born in Brockton on April 20, 1944, a son of the late Richard C. and Ida V. (Banks) Jennings, he was raised in Brockton and Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. D. Michael Mike Brophy age 68 of Easton, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband for 43 years of Judith M. (Lyons) Brophy. Born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Joseph and Helena (OConnell) Brophy, Mike was a 1961 graduate of Brockton High School. Following High School he enlisted in the US Navy and served as a medical corpsman. For the past 27 years he had been a resident of Easton. Mike retired from the Town of Easton School Department after 20 years of service in the custodial department. Previously he had worked for many years at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy.
