From Kane Funeral Home: Bruce Moffitt, 49, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness. Born on June 17, 1963, a son of Warren Moffitt of Easton and the late Edna J. (Comer) Moffitt, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. Bruce began working as a mechanic at the age of 18 for his fathers business, Warren's Service of Brockton and later became the owner of the business upon his father's retirement. He later went to work for Waste Management as a driver and for the past 10 years he was employed by UPS of Brockton in the warehouse division. Born in Boston on April 30, 1940, a son of the late John and Patricia (Colligan) Meadows, he was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. A veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War, he served as a Private in Company D, 1st Airborne Battle Group 501st Infantry, and earned the Parachutist Badge. INGLIS William T. 79 of Easton, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly on January 13, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare in Stoughton. He was born in Arlington. He was honorably discharged by the United States Army in 1959. He retired from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company in July of 1994 as a Systems Analyst after more than 40 years of service.
