Easton's Endurance Fitness Systems Blazes Trail For Runners, Fitness Enthusiasts

Easton's Jay Paganelli began EFS as a way to provide coaching for the "every man" like himself

  Jay Paganelli likes to run long distances - very long distances. He has finished multiple Ultramarathons: the running equivalent to bench pressing 700 pounds or towing an 18 wheeler with pure man power. On multiple occasions, Paganelli has run for over 100 miles in 24 hours. But, the Easton resident and Stonehill College graduate hasn't always been that way. "I’ve sort of run the whole fitness gamut," he said. "What I’ve liked about it is I’m the 'every man.' I’m not a naturally good runner. I’m not naturally fit. I’m actually naturally a really heavy guy. I have a tendency to want a get a Big Mac. But, what I love about running is it’s just this really ego-less group of people." Easton's Endurance Fitness Systems to Host Narragansett Summer Running Festival

The event will be coming to Stonehill this summer.

Submitted to Easton Patch: On Sunday, July 21 the premiere running event of the summer will be coming to the South Shore.  Endurance Fitness Systems of Easton is partnering with Narragansett Brewing Company to host the first annual Narragansett Summer Running Festival.  The all-day event will include 5k, 10k and half-marathon races on the campus of Stonehill College and through the gorgeous suburb of Easton.  Once the races are completed the fun is just beginning.  Narragansett Brewing Company will pour beer for all runners, with live music played by local musicians and an expo consisting of small local businesses.   Narragansett Beer Co. has been offering quality products since 1890 and currently has seasonal choices along with year-round…
