AROUND TOWN: Farmer's Daughter Aims for Spring Opening

The new breakfast and lunch restaurant will be in the space of the former Main Street Cafe.

The storefront on Main Street formerly known as Main Street Cafe was under construction Wednesday morning, and it has been for the last few weeks. The end product will be a new breakfast and lunch restaurant called The Farmer's Daughter. Although the restaurant was originally scheduled to open at the end of last year, the old building required a more extensive renovation, according to Farmer's Daughter owner Chandra Gouldrup.
