Boys will play Tuesday at Somerset Berkley and the girls will play Wednesday at home against Fontbonne
The Oliver Ames boys' and girls' basketball teams received the news they've been waiting for Friday when the pairings for the South Sectional Tournament were announced. The boys earned a 9 seed and the girls earned a 4 seed. The No. 9 boys will begin their tournament run Tuesday night. The Tigers will travel to No. 8 Berkley-Somerset, who went 12-8 on the year and placed third in the Eastern Athletic Conference. A win would mean a shot at the No. 1 seed: Falmouth. The good news? Falmouth is coming off a loss to 3-10 Sharon, who the Tigers beat twice this year. OA has had an up and down season.
